Laut IDC wuchs der Markt statt der prognostizierten 4,5 Prozent im dritten Quartal nur um 3,6 Prozent, Gartner sieht sogar nir eien Anstieg der Auslieferungen um 3,2 Prozent statt der ursprünglichen Projektion von 5,1 Prozent. Lenovos Marktanteil stieg auf 13,5 Prozent, während Dell um einen Prozentpunkt auf 11,6 Prozent schrumpfte.
